Why Camp Winadu?

Camp Winadu is the country’s premier and largest all-boys sports camp in the country. Located in Western Massachusetts (2.5 hourss from New York City & Boston) Winadu is known for its facility, coaching and leadership in developing campers and teaching skills as the most recent winner of the Campgroup Excellence Award.

The camp’s one hundred acre facility includes: 14 Tennis Courts, 9 Basketball Courts, Pool, Lake, 5 Baseball Fields, 5 Soccer Fields, 3 Pickle Ball Courts, Creative Arts Complex, 3 Volleyball Courts, Outdoor Education Course and more.

Sports & Recreation

Pathways offers a comprehensive athletics program designed to enhance physical skills while promoting teamwork and leadership. Our coaches, experienced in working with middle schoolers, focus on developing both individual and team skills in a supportive environment, encouraging students to push their limits and build confidence through sport.

Our Golf Program invites you to refine your swing on our on-site golf range and navigate playful challenges on our mini golf course. Each round hones focus, strategic thinking, and resilience, empowering you with leadership skills both on and off the green.

Outdoor Adventure

Pathway’s Outdoor Adventure Program allows campers to build upon their leadership prowess as they conquer zip lines and climbing walls, transforming challenges into opportunities for decisive action and strategic growth. Campers will embark on immersive hikes and dynamic adventure education sessions that nurture resilience, teamwork, and the visionary skills essential for leading with confidence.

Waterfront & Pool

  • Isabelle van Zyl

    DIRECTOR OF ENROLLMENT & EXTERNAL AFFAIRS

    As a former collegiate athlete at the University of Dayton, Isabelle has honed a strong set of skills that drive our operations and enrollment. With previous experience in Admissions at a premier private co-educational day and boarding school for grades 8-12/PG in Boston, Isabelle played a key role in guiding students through the enrollment process and supporting them throughout their academic journey. Isabelle has experiencing working with families and students from around the globe and fostering a diverse, inclusive community. Isabelle’s expertise lies in helping students transition into a thriving academic environment.

  • Willem van Zyl

    DIRECTOR OF PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT & CAMPER ENGAGEMENT

    Willem graduated from Springfield College with a degree in Physical Education and a minor in Coaching. After starting his career as the Head of the Physical Education Department at a therapeutic school program for students aged 8-18, he went on to become the Assistant Dean of Students at a private day and boarding school in Boston. With six summers of camp experience, Willem excels at creating supportive environments where students feel comfortable, valued, and free to express their true selves.
